Meta Launches Two New AI Models

Meta has introduced Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, two new AI models designed for coding, reasoning, memory, and autonomous agents.

Meta claims the models can compete with leading offerings from OpenAI and Anthropic. They introduce capabilities called Active Memory and Active Focus, helping agents remember information across conversations and remain focused on longer tasks.

Muse Wonder is available through Meta's Model API and Muse Code, while Wonder Full is available to Muse Code subscribers. Independent testing is still needed to validate Meta's performance claims.

ChatGPT Can Now Build Interactive Tools Instead of Just Giving Answers

OpenAI has introduced GPT-6 with Intelligent UI, changing how ChatGPT presents information. Instead of responding only with text, it can now generate interactive charts, calculators, diagrams, forms, and other tools directly inside conversations.

Users can explore information visually and interact with the results without switching applications. The feature is rolling out across ChatGPT plans, including free users. This could make AI much more useful for learning, research, data analysis, and everyday problem solving. Source: OpenAI

OpenAI Introduces Dots

OpenAI has launched Dots, a new category of AI agents designed to handle ongoing tasks with less supervision. Each agent has its own cloud computer, can connect to external applications, and can continue working toward assigned goals. Users can communicate with their agents through ChatGPT and supported workplace tools, while reviewing actions and permissions. The initial rollout is limited to eligible paid plans and enterprise beta access. It marks an important shift from AI assistants that answer questions to systems designed to take responsibility for longer workflows. Source: OpenAI

Bad Prompt vs. Good Prompt vs. Best Prompt

OpenAI Brings Advanced AI Capabilities to a Much Lower Price

OpenAI unveiled GPT-6.1 Sol, a model designed for coding, computer use, document analysis, and complex professional tasks. According to OpenAI's evaluations, it approaches the performance of the more expensive GPT-6 Astra on several important workloads while costing one fifth as much per standard input and output token. The model also improves on its predecessor when handling multistep tasks. For developers and companies building AI agents, that difference could make more advanced automation financially practical. Google Unveils Gemini 4 Argon, With a Focus on Complex Work and Cybersecurity

Google has introduced Gemini 4 Argon, a new frontier model designed for demanding coding, research, enterprise, and cybersecurity tasks. It supports a context window of up to one million tokens and is designed to work through lengthy, complicated problems. Google is initially providing access to selected cybersecurity partners, particularly for finding and repairing software vulnerabilities. Wider availability has not yet been announced. The launch shows how frontier AI development is increasingly focused on completing difficult work rather than simply producing better chatbot responses. Source: Google DeepMind

Claude Sonnet 5.5 Gets Faster Without Raising Its Token Prices

Anthropic has released Claude Sonnet 5.5, with improvements in coding, document creation, visual understanding, and everyday professional work. The company says the model generates output more than 30% faster than Sonnet 5 and can complete many tasks at up to 30% lower overall cost. Its standard token prices remain unchanged, but improved efficiency means it often needs fewer tokens to finish a job. That matters for developers running repeated workflows and teams that rely on AI for daily production tasks. Source: Anthropic

Anthropic Launches Its Cheapest Claude Model Yet

Anthropic has introduced Claude Haiku 5.5, its fastest and most affordable small AI model so far. The company says it costs approximately 75% less to operate than Haiku 4.5 while delivering substantial improvements in several benchmark tests. It is built for repetitive tasks such as summarization, customer support, classification, database queries, and browser automation. Developers can also adjust how much reasoning effort the model uses. This could make running large numbers of AI agents significantly more affordable. Source: Anthropic

Google's New Gemini Agent Wants to Handle Your Entire Workday

Google Cloud has introduced a Gemini agent designed to complete work across different business applications from a single interface. It can plan tasks, retrieve information, write content, generate code, and work with connected enterprise systems. Rather than requiring users to break every job into individual prompts, the agent is designed to work toward broader objectives. Google is focusing the initial rollout on businesses, with security controls and spending limits built into the system. The announcement places Google more directly in competition with other companies developing autonomous workplace assistants. Source: Google Cloud

Shopify Now Lets You Build an Online Store by Simply Describing It

Shopify has introduced Canvas, a new tool that allows merchants to create and customize online stores through conversations with its AI assistant, Sidekick. Users can describe the layout, design, or functionality they want and watch changes appear in real time. Unlike a basic visual mockup, Canvas works with the store's actual code, allowing merchants to test interactions and see how pages behave. The initial desktop version still has limitations, including incomplete support for third-party themes and extensions. Even so, it could reduce the technical work involved in launching an ecommerce business. Source: TechCrunch

Google Releases an AI Meeting Assistant That Works Without Internet

Google has released AI Edge Foresight, a meeting assistant for Mac that can operate entirely offline. The application can capture meeting discussions, generate notes, and help users search through transcripts and uploaded documents using local AI models. It also supports asking questions about previously recorded information, without requiring that information to be processed in the cloud. The software is optimized for Apple Silicon computers. This is a notable development for businesses and professionals who want AI productivity features while keeping sensitive meeting information on their own devices. Source: TechCrunch

11. Google Opens Its AI Content Detector to Everyone

Google has expanded access to SynthID Detector, allowing anyone to check supported images, videos, and audio files for invisible AI watermarks. The technology can identify content generated through participating AI systems, including Google's own models and supported partner tools. Previously, the detector was available mainly to selected journalists, researchers, and media professionals. Its broader availability could help publishers, content creators, and audiences investigate the origin of digital media. However, a negative result does not prove that content is authentic because not all AI generators use compatible watermarks. Source: Google DeepMind

12. Google Launches a Tool That Builds Playable Games From Text Prompts

Google Labs has launched Playground, an experimental platform that lets people create browser games by describing their ideas in natural language. Users can choose between different genres, specify game mechanics, create two or three dimensional experiences, and upload images to use as visual assets. Finished games can be played on desktop and mobile devices, shared privately, or published for others to discover. The platform initially supports adults in the United States. It gives independent creators a new way to experiment with interactive entertainment without conventional game development skills. Source: Google Playground announcement

Microsoft Unveils Windows Computers Built to Run AI Locally

Microsoft has revealed new Nvidia powered computers designed for developers and professionals who want to run powerful AI models directly on their devices. The lineup includes the Surface Laptop Ultra, starting at $2,600, and the Surface RTX Spark Dev Box workstation, starting at $6,000. Microsoft also introduced Windows 11 improvements that make it easier to isolate and manage AI agents. Running models locally can reduce dependence on cloud services and offer more control over sensitive data. The high prices indicate that these machines are primarily aimed at specialized users for now. Source: TechCrunch
