OpenAI has integrated a powerful image generator into GPT-4o, allowing it to create not just beautiful images, but also useful ones for things like presentations and infographics.

Key Features:

  • 4o can follow detailed instructions, render text correctly, and even use your existing images as inspiration.

  • It can create a wide range of styles, from photorealistic images to artistic concepts.

  • 4o understands the relationship between images and text, making it easier to generate images that accurately reflect your ideas.

  • You can refine your image requests through conversation, allowing you to easily adjust and improve the results.

Examples:

  • Creating a menu: You can describe your restaurant and dishes, and 4o will generate a visually appealing menu with illustrations.

  • Designing a character: You can describe your character's appearance and personality, and 4o will generate images that evolve as you refine the details.

  • Visualizing data: You can provide data or concepts, and 4o will generate informative visuals like charts and diagrams.

Limitations:

  • Cropping issues: Sometimes, 4o may crop images incorrectly.

  • Hallucinations: Like other AI models, 4o can sometimes generate unrealistic or inaccurate details.

  • Complexity limits: 4o may struggle with highly complex requests, such as rendering many objects or very small text.

'#1. Vibe Coding' Could Let a Small Team Build Large Software

Best vibe coding tool is - bolt.new , You just need to tell what you actually want to create and it will generate the code and all right infront of you without even asking you to create directories

A new term called "vibe coding" is getting a lot of attention in Silicon Valley. It's about using AI to write code for you.

What is it?

Basically, instead of writing lines and lines of code yourself, you tell an AI what you want to create – like a website or an app – in plain English. The AI then generates the code for you, often in seconds.

You type or speak your instructions into an AI-powered coding platform. Examples of these platforms are Cursor, Bolt, and Claude. The AI takes your request and creates the software. If you need to fix bugs or make changes, you can just ask the AI to do it.

While it might sound like traditional coding is going away, it's still important to understand the basics. However, being able to use these AI tools is becoming a valuable skill. It could allow more people, even those without a computer science background, to create their own software and bring their ideas to life.

#2. Gemini 2.5: the most intelligent AI model

Google has launched Gemini 2.5, their most intelligent AI model yet. The first version, Gemini 2.5 Pro Experimental, significantly outperforms previous models in reasoning and coding, topping leaderboards. It's a "thinking model" designed for complex problems and boasts a massive context window. It's available now for developers and Gemini Advanced users.

Gemini 2.5 Pro is state-of-the-art across a range of benchmarks requiring advanced reasoning. Without test-time techniques that increase cost, like majority voting, 2.5 Pro leads in math and science benchmarks like GPQA and AIME 2025.

Gemini 2.5 Pro is available now in Google AI Studio and in the Gemini app for Gemini Advanced users, and will be coming to Vertex AI soon. We’ll also introduce pricing in the coming weeks, enabling people to use 2.5 Pro with higher rate limits for scaled production use.

#3. What are the three jobs Gates believes will survive? (Source)

Tech pioneer Bill Gates believes that while Artificial Intelligence will automate many jobs, three key professions are likely to remain essential, at least for the time being. He identifies coders (the people who build and maintain AI), energy experts (needed to manage the complex energy sector), and biologists (especially in research, where creativity and intuition are crucial) as roles that AI can't yet fully replace.

Gates argues that even though AI can generate code, human programmers are still needed for complex problem-solving and to advance AI itself. In the energy sector, human expertise is vital for navigating regulations and handling unpredictable situations. Finally, he believes the creativity and critical thinking of biologists, particularly in medical research, will keep their roles relevant.

#4. Microsoft is adding a powerful new research tool called "Researcher agent" to its Microsoft 365 Copilot platform (Source)

This feature aims to help users by performing in-depth research on their behalf, saving them significant time and effort.

Think of it like this: you can ask Copilot to gather thoroughly researched information on a specific topic or create a detailed plan. The Researcher agent will then autonomously go to work, compiling a comprehensive document that would typically take hours of manual research.

What makes this Researcher agent special is its ability to look beyond just the internet. It can also access your own Microsoft 365 data, like emails, chats, meeting recordings, calendars, and shared documents, as well as even connect to external business tools like Salesforce. This means it can provide highly relevant and context-aware research based on both internal and external information.

Microsoft claims that early testers have saved around 6-8 hours per week using this tool, highlighting its potential to boost productivity. The Researcher agent will be rolled out to Microsoft 365 Copilot customers starting in April through a new "Frontier program," which is similar to a beta testing program, giving early access to these new AI features.
